From hands-on learning to expertise tempering, lamination and mold tooling processes
My path has been one of innovation, resilience, and deep commitment to excellence, blending professional achievements with personal growth and offering a 360-degree perspective on the complexities of the glass industry.
At the heart of my career has been the privilege of learning from exceptional mentors and participating in revolutionary projects. In the work at floor level learning through hands-on activity developing bending, tempering, lamination, and mold tooling processes is a key component of my professional value to my customers. Teamwork and servant leadership have been the cornerstone of my career. The successes I’ve celebrated have always been collective, born from the shared efforts of diverse, talented teams. My international experience has not only broadened my technical expertise but also deepened my appreciation for diverse perspectives and approaches, enabling me to navigate and connect with varied cultural and professional environments effortlessly.
These experiences taught me the value of hands-on expertise, perseverance, and the power of collaborative success. I aim to pass on these lessons by empowering my customers and their teams and guiding them through the complexities of flat and curved glass processing.
Toughened By Experience
My entrepreneurial venture, Safety Glass Experts, faced an unexpected bankruptcy at its peak, a pivotal moment that reshaped especially my personal life but also finetuned my professional ethos.
This experience, while challenging, honed my resilience, integrity, empathy, and transparency.
It taught me the invaluable lessons of life and how everything you know and used to can be lost.
We’re all human under the same sky, navigating our journeys with our strengths and vulnerabilities.
Bond to develop
Teaching and sharing knowledge have been integral parts of my journey. From presenting at industry conferences, like Glass Performance Days, and Autoglass Conference, and writing several technical publications, I’ve always believed in the power of knowledge sharing.
This passion to help individuals and companies is driven by the conviction that the safety glass industry’s future lies in the hands of the new generation of future glass experts and specialists we inspire and educate today.
Influencing And Living Balanced Life
Continually engaging with the industry, I continue to drive my position as a unique influencer in the digital domain, particularly on LinkedIn and in other glass industry digital media outlets.
As a member of the NGA and Finnish Flat Glass Association, and through my current work with Global Glass Specialists, I strive to inspire the development of the glass manufacturing processes and build connections within the vehicle glass and architectural glass communities.
Beyond the professional sphere, I am a father of two, living by the values of health, communication, balanced life, and integrity.
These principles shape not just my personal life but extend to my professional interactions, ensuring that my work reflects a commitment to genuine, ethical, and balanced engagements.

”We have known Mika Eronen for quite a few years since he has been writing many great articles regarding automotive glass on LinkedIn. Even with just a few short sessions through online meetings, we have achieved very positive results regarding breakage and pitting distortion. My main expectation was to learn new tricks and experiences in the art of bending automotive windscreens. Mika has provided the service with passion. It is straightforward and easy to follow, allowing us to tackle many problems very quickly. We are absolutely satisfied with these approaches and are planning on booking another similar session very soon. On a scale from 1-10, I would probably give 11. Would I recommend him to another company? This is a very difficult question since should they be my competitors? Haha. Just like before, we are planning on booking another online session before continuing with an onsite visit from Mika in the near future.”
